Proto launched a holographic conversational AI platform designed for retail at NRF 2024 in New York.

RetailSage brings products to life by combining holograms with Proto’s conversational AI, providing product expertise and recommendations in response to customer queries.

The interactions with customers provide insights from integrated data sources, learn from customer behaviour and preferences, and improve marketing decisions.

The platform enables retailers to reduce their physical inventory and storage costs, and to cut down on their environmental impact by using fewer display materials.

Proto’s head of product and AI innovation, Raffi Kryszek, said: “Our vision with RetailSage was to blend the digital and physical aspects of retail in a way that’s never been done before.

“The AI-driven holographic interactions provide customers with an immersive and informative experience, while giving retailers a powerful tool to optimise staffing and operational efficiency.”
