Starting 1 September, users of avinteractive.com will once again need to register, but this time just in order to access feature content. General news content will remain available to access without registration, but in order to read our more in-depth coverage of market trends, analysis, interviews and product reviews, a registration is required. It’s still free to register, and take just moments to complete.

We’re doing this as learning a little more about our readers, such as the industry sector they work in and their job level, helps us to make better decisions around the content and themes that we write about, to ensure that our content remains valuable, even essential, for the day-to-day success of AV professionals throughout the industry.

How it works

From 1 September, you will notice that some articles on the avinteractive.com homepage and our other section fronts have a small padlock alongside the headline. This denotes content that now requires a registration to view, and so you will need to register (or log in if you’ve already registered) in order to view that article. Any content that does not have a padlock by the headline remains available to read without the need to register or log in.

Registering gives you access to up to four feature articles per month. When you register, you will be asked to provide your contact information, as well as basic details about your job, company and sector. You will also be able to choose whether to receive our email newsletters, as well as information about the AV Awards and other key events.

If four feature articles per month just isn’t enough for you, then click the button on the top right corner of this page to subscribe. This is also free, and gives you full, unlimited access to the site and also access to the digital replica edition of AV Magazine whenever it is published. Qualifying applicants in the UK will also receive the printed magazine delivered to your door.

Subscribing takes around five minutes, and involves answering some more in-depth questions about your role, the specific areas of AV you work in, along with your purchasing responsibility. In exchange for providing this additional information, you will receive unlimited access to the site and, if you are a qualifying UK resident, you will also be added to the mailing list to receive physical copies of AV Magazine for three years.
