Visitors to the Epson stand at ISE can experience Epson’s latest wonderful immersive projection feature – a giant umbrella that unfolds in a cascade of vivid technicolour in celebration of festivals around the world.

The umbrella projection draws inspiration from many international festivals such as the Barcelona carnival; the Chinese New Year and lantern festival; the Japanese Tango No Sekku, Kodomo-no-hi (Children’s Day) and Cherry Blossom festivals; the Portuguese AgitÁgueda Art festival (umbrella festival); the Busan fireworks festival and the Thai lantern festival known as Yi Peng & Loy Krathong.

Epson will also display the world’s smallest and lightest 4K 20,000 lumens projector in action at ISE 2024. Announced in early 2023, the EB-PQ2220B is packed with Epson’s patented technologies and uses the same 4K quality interchangeable range of lenses as the existing EB-PU series. Its small size and weight means a reduction in waste from packaging and lower costs for transport, storage, and installation. Building on the success of its EB-PU2200 series, Epson’s new ultra-lightweight, compact high-lumens projector offers easy installation and set-up, simplified maintenance, and stunning image quality.

Epson’s latest 4K technology has combined its proprietary 4K Crystal Motion, panel thermo-control and double micro-lens array technologies to achieve optimal clarity.

The new range offers custom-built 4K graphic processing, with the latest chipset providing significant improvements in operating frequency, memory bandwidth and data transmission for a seamless 4K experience.

Epson will also demonstrate how its projectors can transform corporate spaces. In partnership with Purple Digital Storytelling, Epson will demonstrate the power of projection across a range of business activities from presentations, digital showrooms and sales pitches to product training, employee onboarding and large company gatherings. Epson’s advanced projector technology together with Purple’s Hyro 3D software can immerse company employees and visitors in engaging, interactive and highly professional digital content.

Epson will also host a demonstration of Microsoft Teams Front Row, using Epson 4K projectors. Epson will demonstrate how this solution can be scaled to work for businesses of all sizes – with a large format XL solution plus a smaller solution.

At ISE2024, Epson will also be showcasing an Interactive Teaching System, a wrap-around, self-standing solution featuring three  EB-770Fi interactive, ultra-short-throw projectors. It offers possibilities for immersive, interactive teaching in a way that can never be achieved with flat panels.

Epson will also display its projector lens line-up on stand, revealing an extensive range of flexible, versatile, interchangeable lenses. Epson offers unparalleled lens compatibility, with the same 4K-quality range of lenses available for projectors from 6,000 to 20,000 lumens brightness. This includes the LX Series of ultra-short-throw lenses which are compatible up to 30,000 lumens and capable of projecting a 200-inch image from just 1.5m.

Graeme Davidson, director of VI business at Epson Europe, commented: “We are genuinely excited to show the full potential of our projection technology across many markets from professional displays, corporate meeting spaces and education to retail, leisure, culture, arts  and entertainment. As global leader, Epson excels in producing super-compact, ultra-lightweight and very efficient high-brightness projectors.

“Our 3LCD display platform has become the industry benchmark for quality and flexibility, not only saving installation time and shipment costs but also reducing environmental impact for the important and growing 20k lumens market segment.”

“We are looking forward to welcoming all visitors to our stunning stand at ISE this year, to enjoy the umbrella projection highlight and experience the very latest advances in Epson 3LCD projector technology.”
